Harris Forest Preserve

10460 Rt. 71 | Yorkville, IL 60560 | 630.232.5980

Harris is one of Kendall County’s most popular preserves. Harboring seven picnic shelters, a lake, horse arena, baseball diamond and sled hill, this 90-acre preserve attracts visitors year round. More than 2.5 miles of trails lead visitors through oak and maple woodlands. Bridges cross wetland areas and several ravines. Harris is spectacular in the spring when wildflowers carpet the forest floor. Whether it’s fishing in the summer, sledding in the winter, or just enjoying a quiet walk through the woods, Harris has many wonderful recreational opportunities.
