Solheim After Sundown
Solheim After Sundown, a special community event, will kick off the 2009 Solheim Cup week with Chicago-based cover band Maggie Speaks, it was announced today. The event will be held in the PING Pavilion at Rich Harvest Farms on Tuesday, August 18 from 4-8 p.m.
The Solheim Cup is a biennial trans-Atlantic match-play event featuring the top 12 U.S.-born players from the LPGA and the best European members from the Ladies European Tour (LET). The U.S. Team leads the competition, 7-3, and has never lost The Solheim Cup on home soil.
