Aurora Ranked as Top 100 by Money Magazine
Survey Listed Best Small Towns to Live in

One of the best small towns to live in the United States. Aurora ranked number 55 in the national magazine survey.

To find America's best places to live, Money Magazine considers data on housing affordability, job growth, education quality, public safety, recreational opportunity, and much more. Nearly 750 municipalities with populations over 50,000 were considered in this national ranking.

"I am pleased that Aurora is getting the national recognition it deserves," commented Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner. "Money Magazine confirmed what people in Aurora already know. This is a great place to live and work. When government, businesses, community groups, schools and citizens work together to improve the quality of life, great things can and do happen."

Aurora's Economic Development Director Sherman Jenkins commented on the positive impact this type of recognition can have on future investment, adding, "Being recognized in a national publication as a top community provides developers and businesses another incentive to choose Aurora."
