Take a spectacular visual journey into seldom-seen secret Edens with the world’s leading underwater photographer – David Doubilet. Submerge into the beating heart of the Pacific coral triangle, temperate kelp forests, kingdoms of ice and Botswana’s Okavango Delta, a delicate and dangerous world of lily gardens, crocodiles and unhappy hippos. Recommended for ages 7 and above.
Doubilet is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including the Sara Prize, the Lowell Thomas Award, and the Lennart Nilsson Award in Photography. He’s photographed more than 70 stories for National Geographic - reporting on coral reefs, historic shipwrecks, ocean predators and exotic marine creatures. Endowed with a keen sense of humor and the ability to speak poetically about his subjects, Doubilet is an audience favorite! This event is general admission.
