The City of Aurora aims to be a bicycle-friendly community and promotes bicycling throughout the city. In downtown Aurora, a green dedicated bike lane protects riders from traffic and connects to major regional trails, sharrows alert vehicles to routes commonly used by bicyclists, and Koloni Fox Valley Bike Share stations offer another way to see downtown. Other locations in downtown Aurora include at RiverEdge Park and the Santori Public Library Aurora.
