The Drifters at the Sandwich Opera House
Along with fellow inductees the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Bob Dylan and the Supremes, the Drifters were in the first class of Rock & Roll legends to be initiated into the Hall of Fame and the first African American group to be inducted. Their classic tune "Under The Boardwalk" is the most played R & B record of all time, but there's more to their repertoire than one or two hits -- you know them all by heart, "Up on the Roof", "Sweets for My Sweet", "Please Stay", "Some Kind of Wonderful", and so many more. Brew N' View: Wayne's World 25th Anniversary Screening at Two Brothers Roundhouse
Wayne Campbell is a heavy metal fanatic living in Aurora, Illinois. Wayne and his eccentric best friend, Garth Algar, host “Wayne’s World”, a most excellent cable public access network broadcast from Wayne’s basement. The film follows their difficult rise to stardom in this legendary comedy, now being celebrated on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its release.
This free screening at Two Brothers Roundhouse is a kickoff to an #excellent series of events occurring throughout the year in Downtown Aurora. Party on!
Valentine's Day Dinner at the Turf Room
The Turf Room, a recipient of three Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence, features its eclectic seasonal dinner menu and vast selection of curated wines over three dinner seatings on Valentine’s Day at 3:30, 5:30, and 8pm.
