The Illinois Prairie Path, Fox River Trails, and Virgil Gilman Trail were recently featured in an article by Jeanine Barone at the Chicago Tribune.

The story highlights old railroad corridors outside of Chicago's city limits that were transformed over the years into some of the top destinations for locals and visitors alike to enjoy the outdoors. We're inclined to agree with author Jeanine Barone, writing about the trails, that they are "a balm for the soul, wrapping visitors in tranquility, something most of us especially crave nowadays."
