Christkindlmarket Returns to Aurora's RiverEdge Park in 2025

The Christkindlmarket is delighted to announce the return of its cherished holiday tradition for its 4th year at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, Illinois. The Aurora location opens on Friday, November 21st, 2025, and will as always be admission free, featuring authentic vendors, live entertainment, and special events to create a festive holiday atmosphere. 

The Christkindlmarket Aurora at RiverEdge Park, located at 360 N Broadway, will be open Thursdays – Sundays from November 21 through December 24, with the following regular and special hours:

• Thursdays: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Fridays and Saturdays: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Sundays: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Special Hours:
  • Thanksgiving (Nov. 27) and Christmas Eve (Dec. 24): 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday (Dec. 22) and Tuesday (Dec. 23): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Aurora market will be the largest ever organized by German American Events, LLC – with more than 60 vendors and new seasonal dishes like s’mores and sautéed mushrooms. This year, guests may notice construction at RiverEdge Park, allowing for an even bigger and better event space in the future. The market will continue to offer the same cherished traditions, festive atmosphere, and magical holiday experience visitors know and love.

Christkindlmarket enthusiasts should follow the market on Instagram for an exciting giveaway with the Paramount Theatre in Aurora for a pair of tickets to Irving Berlin’s White Christmas Musical, including a pair of the cherished annual souvenir mugs. The design for these mugs, along with other 2025 merchandise, will be revealed in September.
