Take a step back in time at Oswegoland's history museum.
Little White School Museum, located at 72 Polk Street in downtown Oswego, IL, holds the rich history of the community and reflects the spirit of its early residents.
Built as a church in 1850, then used as a school until the mid 1960’s, the building is now a community museum open to the public and an archive of local Oswegoland history.
The Oswegoland Heritage Association operates the museum in partnership with the Oswegoland Park District.
At Home in Oswego's Past
The Little White School Museum's special exhibit offers a glimpse into the home life of Oswegoland residents during the late 19th and early 20th centuries through photographs, documents, and artifacts ranging from vintage textiles to furniture owned and manufactured in Oswego.
A virtual tour of the exhibit and curator interview is available at littlewhiteschoolmuseum.org/special-exhibits.
