La Casa de Edith Farnsworth Book now - we sell out! To commemorate the National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Edith Farnsworth House will be launching its first tour in Spanish. This is the first of its kind in the United States. The tour, led by Alejandro Saldaña Perales, PhD Candidate in Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, will encompass the rich history and the legacy of The Edith Farnsworth House’s architecture and grounds with a meticulous attention to detail. The Spanish tour goes beyond a traditional translation and creates an entirely new and unique experience. Furthermore, it will draw attention to the fact that Architecture, its debate and enjoyment, is and must be within everyone’s reach. Please Note: The 2023 exhibit, "Last of the Animal Builders," presents several art installations both in and surrounding the House.
