Hoist a glass and say Prost! Oktoberfest celebrations in the Aurora Area are a great way to ring in the autumn season with days and nights full of merriment, authentic German sausages from Wurst Kitchen, and the delicious craft beers of the region.
You can find Aurora's biggest Oktoberfest party in the courtyard at Two Brothers Roundhouse. Two Brothers' Oktoberfest is a fun-filled afternoon featuring live oompah bands, authentic German food, classic Oktoberfest games and stein-hoisting competitions. Get your first taste of this year's Atom Smasher, an oaky, hop-forward Märzenbier named for the particle colliders at nearby Fermilab.
Plan a weekend around Two Brothers' Oktoberfest with a Saturday trip to Pumpkin Daze at Abbey Farms, a family-friendly series of fall events where you can zip line, pedal go-karts, and find your way through the region's largest corn maze. Stock up on new fall looks (or early holiday gifting) at Chicago Premium Outlets, the largest outdoor premium outlet mall in the Midwest featuring over 160+ exclusive designer and brand-name shops.
Oswego's Brew at the Bridge celebrates rare, new, and home-made craft beers at Prairie Point Community Park. Sample styles from a variety of established craft breweries and upstart home brewers at this family-friendly event. The following weekend, Oswego will also host an Oktoberfest in Oswego with live german music and authentic German cuisine provided by Wurst Kitchen at Oswego Brewing Co.
#GoYorkville at Yorktoberfest, the inaugural craft beer fest with live music straight from Nashville. If you've been to Summer Solstice you know what to expect: good beers, good tunes, and good times on the riverfront in downtown Yorkville.
This year, Yorkville's Crusade Burger Bar will also be hosting an alternative Oktoberfest for those whose tastebuds tire of hops: the first annual Lagerfest is a celebration of all things lager, and Crusade have teamed up with their closest pals in the brewing industry to bring their favorite easy-drinking beers for your tasting pleasure.
Downtown Batavia's Batavia Oktoberfest is a lively celebration over three days on the scenic River Street promenade. Join Batavia MainStreet as they present a traditional Oktoberfest featuring authentic German food, music, entertainment, and a wide selection of German beers.

Find Cock-A-Doodle Brew Fest at the Hollywood Casino parking lot, where you can dig into wings and other things courtesy Station One Smokehouse, Gillerson's Grubbery, and Doggie Diner.
