AJGA Announces Inaugural Chicago Junior All-Star Championship

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is excited to announce the addition of the Chicago Junior All-Star Championship to the 2026 schedule, a new Junior All-Star event set to debut June 15-18, 2026, at Phillips Park Golf Course in Aurora, Illinois.

The event will feature a 96-player field comprised exclusively of boys and girls ages 12–15, continuing the AJGA’s commitment to providing junior golfers with access to premier competitive opportunities. As a Junior All-Star tournament, the championship is designed to help emerging players gain experience in a nationally recognized AJGA setting while competing against peers from across the region.

“We’re thrilled to bring a new Junior All-Star event to the Midwest with the addition of the Chicago Junior All-Star Championship,” said Ryan Flanagan, AJGA Senior Regional Director, Midwest. “This championship strengthens our presence in the region while providing meaningful competitive opportunities for young junior golfers.”

The Chicago Junior All-Star Championship will be supported by a three-year Title Sponsorship from the Aurora Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Aurora Area Sports Alliance, reflecting the organization’s continued investment in youth sports tourism and junior golf development throughout the Aurora area.
