Batavia MainStreet is thrilled to announce the return of the Wednesday Evening Batavia Farmers’ Market, beginning June 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at its new location at The South Riverwalk Plaza (N. Island Ave. and Houston St.) in front of City Hall, alongside the Batavia Park District’s River Rhapsody Concert Series.

Now in its third season, this curated market offers a relaxed midweek shopping experience featuring approximately 20 vendors each week- many returning favorites alongside exciting new additions. Set against the backdrop of the Fox River, the market invites visitors to stroll the scenic Riverwalk, shop local, and enjoy a laid-back summer evening filled with fresh flavors, live music, and community connections.

On opening day, Wednesday, June 10, vendors will offer special features including a “Build Your Own” gourmet salad bowl at Hanson’s Microgreens, a mystery marshmallow flavor from Cakeytown Marshmallows, samples from Lil C’s Cheesecakes and Miss Lindy’s Bakery- including a toasted s’mores cookie- and complimentary sample packs and recipe cards from Sahha Granola. Guests who make a purchase at the market on June 10 will also have the opportunity to enter a Batavia MainStreet raffle. Two winners will each receive $50 in Downtown Dollars, which can be used just like cash at dozens of downtown Batavia businesses.

Looking for ready-to-eat snacks to enjoy during the River Rhapsody concert? The Wednesday Evening Market has plenty of delicious options, including hummus spreads and dips from Yallatizers, elote, açaí bowls, made-from-scratch mini cheesecakes, indulgent gourmet cookies, and kettle corn. Beverage offerings include dirty sodas, kombucha, refreshers, matcha, and lemonade.

Of course, no farmers’ market would be complete without fresh, locally grown products. Shoppers can find produce from Hanson Microgreens & Herbs and Rosewood Farm, farm-raised meats from Bennett Farms, and artisan cheese from North Sky Farm. Other returning vendors include Sandra’s Homemade pickled goods, honey from Two Beekeepers, and Birdflower Farm, known for its beautiful fresh-cut flowers.

Convenient parking is available in the public parking lot off N. River Street between State and Spring Streets. Visitors can enjoy a short walk across the Peace Bridge to reach the market and take in the beautiful river views along the way.

After the market, visitors are encouraged to continue their evening at River Rhapsody concerts at Peg Bond Center or explore downtown Batavia’s vibrant dining and entertainment scene at venues such as Geneva Winery, Sidecar Supper Club, Sturdy Shelter Brewing, and Windmill Grille & Pizzeria.

The market proudly accepts SNAP benefits and offers LINK Match, a USDA-sponsored incentive that doubles SNAP dollars for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Special thanks to Bulldog Plumbing and The Move Smarter Team, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, the Presenting Sponsors of the Wednesday Evening Market, for their generous support.
