Elburn Days (August 21 - 23)

Location: Elburn Lions Community Park, Elburn, IL

Elburn Days is a three-day, family-friendly summer festival in Elburn, IL that features carnival rides, live music, food, a parade, craft show, bingo, tractor pulls, and more hometown fun. Hosted annually the third full weekend of August by the Elburn Lions Club, it serves as the club’s largest fundraiser, supporting Elburn Lions Park and local charitable causes throughout the community.

Frida Destination Festival at Altiro Aurora (August 22)

Location: Altiro Latin Fusion, 1 S Stolp Ave, Aurora, IL
Cost: Free community event; $40 Daily Pass for Margarita Crawl (includes 8 tastings; table reservations separate)
Step into a festive Frida Kahlo-inspired atmosphere with art, music, dance, live body painting, and a Margarita Crawl. Enjoy folkloric dancers, mariachi music, a Mayan ceremony, and more—all celebrating Mexican culture and creativity. The event runs 5–9pm and is open to all; some activities require a ticketed pass.
